THIS IS OUR ATASCADERO CALIFORNIA HOME IN 1915 Our family moved into this old Arts and Crafts house almost 30 years ago. I have had lots of fun doing what I love best.."Playing house" in it. I don't consider myself a decorator, I am more of a "gatherer" and I gather things that I think will be happy in our home. I love the challange of decorating without spending much money. There is nothing like finding that "special little thing" at a yard sale or junk store. I have even been known to "dumpster dive" If I see something that I think needs a good home. That's me working in the Children's Garden and my Granddauhter Natalie playing on the tree swing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Our front porch is one of my favorite rooms in the house! It's a great place to set any time of day or night, either alone or with a friend or best of all with a Grandchild. | I love this brick that was given to me by a friend..it always makes people smile. :^)
